Hospital Food - not to be taken for granted
Probably the last thing on your mind as a patient in the hospital is: "What's on the menu"?
Although you probably do not expect 5 star restaurant treatment, good, tasty and wholesome food goes a long way in making your stay a bit more comfortable.
Speaker: Ms Irene Slabbert, Regional Catering Manager, Netcare Hospitals.
This lecture will enlightened you to the operational intricacies of preparing a large number of safe, yet palatable food servings to patients suffering from various degrees of ill health. Special diets for special needs, including liquid diets, will also be discussed.
