You are invited to attend presentations on sensory analysis and related sensory aspects, as applied to in the food industry, which will be held at the Department of Food Science, Stellenbosch University on 21 February 2012, 18:00 - 21:00.
Chris Findlay, Chairman of Compusense Inc., Canada & Aret Meyer, MD of Sensient Colors SA will give talks on topical issues regarding the application of sensory analysis in the industrial and research environments.

Speakers
Dr. Chris Findlay is founder and Chairman of Compusense Inc., a leading sensory science company based in Guelph, Canada. A Food Scientist by training, Chris has dedicated the last 25 years to the advancement of Sensory Science. His contributions to the field were recognized in 2010 by the Institute of Food Technology with the inaugural Achievement Award in Sensory and Consumer Science.
Aret Meyer, Sensient Colors South Africa started with Sensient in 2006 as technical consultant to the food and pharmaceutical industries. From 2008 she managed the Business Development portfolio and has since moved into the position of MD.

Free for SAAFoST members; R100 (including VAT) for non - SAAFoST members.
