The National Waste Bill is scheduled to become law soon
(the Bill is currently awaiting the signature of the President).
Implications of this are profound and far reaching for the packaging supply
chain, from raw materials right through to retail and the consumer.
Andrew is the Executive Director of the Packaging Council of South
Africa. In this capacity he is heading up negotiations with government on
an industrial waste management plan.
