Frieda herself is a world class beer taster and this year was runner up Taster of the Year for SAB-Miller Global. Her eminence in the field has been widely recognised. She has been invited to adjudicate in a number of international beer competitions, including the prestigious World Beer Cup competition in 2008 and 2010, held in the US, as one of only 30 women judges in a panel of 120.

For most of that time he has been involved in tasting and has become an eminent and experienced taster in his own right. Gary has ably taken up the torch of Taste Management for SAB-Miller from Frieda. One of Gary's many functions is to train new tasters and track and maintain the high standards of existing taster competence in the business, a task to which he brings his extensive expertise, a passionate commitment and an irresistible sense of fun. Gary also leads taste panels which profile the taste characteristics of new products.
