An Individual Membership applies to the following membership categories: Professional Member, Member, Student Member.
A Student member shall be a person who is following a full-time course of technical, practical or scientific training – BSc Food Science or Nat diploma in Food Technology. Student membership will be suspended annually on December 31. Student membership applications will open annually from January 05. However, Student Membership may be granted upon presentation of proof of registration at an approved University and payment and payment of the membership fee allocated for that year.
An Institution Member shall be a company, research institution or other body engaged directly, or indirectly, in food science or technology. An Institution Member shall designate one representative, preferably from its senior scientific or technical personnel, to represent the institution in the Association.
